MPCA MEAL Toolkit Launch (Option 1)

Join Save the Children International for the launch of the USAID - Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance-funded Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) MEAL Toolkit (available in Arabic, English, French, and Spanish), which was developed in partnership with the International Rescue Committee and Mercy Corps with inputs from over 26 other organizations. This webinar will introduce the toolkit and how it can be used to measure MPCA programs. This multi-agency toolkit includes tools and XLSForm/KoBo survey templates (PDM, market monitoring, and baseline-endline survey) to facilitate the implementation of MPCA programs.

Sharpening our Tools: Refining Approaches to Capacity Strengthening Design and Measurement

In this webinar, USAID Advancing Nutrition will contextualize capacity-strengthening design and measurement tools through several examples of locally-led nutrition work in Nigeria. Speakers will share their experience in strategically designing multi-faceted and layered capacity-strengthening programs and strategies for addressing measurement challenges. In addition, this webinar will feature insights on measuring several levels of capacity strengthening in Nigeria, including a leadership development program delivered through the African Nutrition Leadership Program and systems strengthening for the State Committees on Food and Nutrition (SCFNs), state-level coordinating bodies for nutrition. This webinar will be available in English and French.

The Board for International Food and Agricultural Development (BIFAD), an advisory committee to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) on food and agricultural development issues, is hosting a full-day public meeting, Elevating Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation in USAID’s Agricultural, Nutrition, and Food System Programming to Inform Strategy Implementation: A Discussion of the BIFAD Climate Change Subcommittee Draft Commissioned Report, to address the opportunities and challenges of transformational climate change adaptation and mitigation in USAID’s agricultural, nutrition, and food systems programming.
