Food Security Trends and Resilience-Building Priorities

This webinar will take stock of food security trends and review the impacts of recent shocks to food systems. It will highlight the need for renewed efforts to strengthen food systems' resilience and identify priority investments and actions. This webinar is part of the CGIAR policy seminar series on strengthening food systems resilience and will bring together speakers from CGIAR centers and their partners, as well as representatives from government, international organizations, and nongovernmental organizations, to examine the evidence base for resilience-building priorities and approaches.

ICSD 2024: 12th International Conference on Sustainable Development Rome, Italy

The European Center of Sustainable Development in collaboration with the Canadian Institute of Technology will organize the 12th ICSD 2024 International Conference on Sustainable Development, with a particular focus on environmental, economic, and socio-cultural sustainability. The conference theme is creating a unified foundation for sustainable development: research, practice, and education. This theme emphasizes the strong foundation that is provided by using research to inform our everyday practices, policies, and analytical approaches. The 12th ICSD 2024 will be an excellent opportunity to share ideas and research findings relevant to sustainability science, through the European network of academics.

Join the QualME (Qualitative Monitoring and Evaluation) peer community for an online discussion on Participatory Qualitative Tools and Approaches to Support Adaptive Management.
