Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management: Using Meteorological Data to Make Livelihoods More Resilient
This webinar aims to reflect on the links between disaster risk management and adaptation to climate change, based on the Peruvian experience with a climate forecasting tool developed by Save the Children and the National Meteorology and Hydrology Service of Peru (SENAMHI). The Agroclimatic Information System (SIA) allows climate forecasts to be obtained about rainfall and droughts and the impact they would have on several types of essential crops at the national level.
