Funded by USAID's Office of Food for Peace (FFP), the five-year Fararano Development Food Assistance Project (DFAP) worked to reduce food insecurity in the Atsinanana, Vatovavy Fitovinany, and Atsimo Andrefana regions. The project’s purposes were 1) to reduce undernutrition in children under two, 2) increase household income, and 3) increase community capacity to manage shocks.
