ENOUGH THEORY! A Somali Consortium Putting Nexus Programming into Action

The Nexus Platform is an emerging consortium of Somali NGOs and international actors established in 2019, including eight local NGOs and two INGOs (Oxfam and Save the Children International). It aims to pioneer locally-led humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding initiatives in Somalia and Somaliland. This resource provides insights and lessons learned from its initial phase to support others advocating for or implementing Triple Nexus projects. It is designed for stakeholders interested in promoting community-driven solutions and breaking down silos between aid sectors through civil society leadership and local governance partnerships.
