Securing Coherence Between Humanitarian Aid, Development Cooperation, and Peacebuilding

This note provides specific guidelines for implementing Denmark’s development cooperation strategy, “The World We Share,” for the period 2021-2025. It is designed for employees at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, though it may also inform external partners. The note ensures consistency between strategy, policy, planning, and budgeting, and provides a framework for prioritizing and making decisions in line with the principles of Doing Development Differently. It serves as a reference in programming, monitoring, and dialogue with partners, and will be revised as needed to reflect changing contexts and priorities.
