This resource is a mapping exercise aiming to provide a comprehensive global overview of how countries are implementing the Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) nexus approach. It is intended for International Humanitarian and Development actors, Member States, and donors seeking operational examples, good practices, and lessons learned in integrating humanitarian, development, and peace efforts. The mapping exercise uses the IASC Light Guidance on Collective Outcomes to define and explore how joint analysis, collective outcomes, joined-up planning, and aligned financing are implemented to reduce humanitarian needs, risks, and vulnerabilities across different contexts. It can be used to inform policy development, programming decisions, and strategic alignments within the HDP nexus framework globally.
