This report examines how to operationalize the "triple nexus" of humanitarian−development−peace (HDP) action in crisis contexts. It is designed for humanitarian practitioners, policymakers, development actors, and organizations involved in addressing protracted crises. By synthesizing findings from country studies in Bangladesh, Cameroon, and Somalia, the report offers insights into partnerships, coordination, programming, financing, and organizational approaches needed to foster more joined-up and coherent action among humanitarian, development, and peace actors in crisis settings. It serves as a valuable resource for understanding and promoting mutual understanding among actors involved in addressing protracted humanitarian crises.
