Global climate indicators provide a broad view of climate change at a global scale, encompassing the composition of the atmosphere, energy changes, and the response of the land, ocean, and ice. This publication provides the most recent findings on climate-related risks and impacts including food security, humanitarian and population displacement aspects, and impact on ecosystems. The report warns that four climate change indicators—greenhouse gas concentrations, sea-level rise, ocean heat, and ocean acidification—set new records in 2021.
