Nobo Jatra-New Beginning" is a five-year USAID Food for Peace Title II Development Food Security Activity aimed at improving gender-equitable food security, nutrition, and resilience in southwest Bangladesh. It is designed for vulnerable communities, particularly women and children, in the target region. The project, implemented by World Vision Bangladesh in collaboration with the World Food Programme and Winrock International, integrates interventions across various sectors such as Maternal Child Health and Nutrition, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Agriculture and Alternative Livelihoods, Disaster Risk Reduction, Good Governance, Social Accountability, and Gender to achieve its objectives. It can be used as a model for integrated development interventions addressing multifaceted challenges in similar contexts. This Annual Results Report (ARR) presents Nobo Jatra activities and results realized from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018.
