Localisation Guidance Notes

The Grand Bargain Localisation Workstream issued a series of guidance notes on localisation in May 2020. These notes, based on extensive research, demonstrator country missions, and discussions with signatories and local actors, provide priority findings, recommendations, and considerations for implementing localisation commitments. They are intended for use by humanitarian organizations and stakeholders involved in the Grand Bargain process to ensure more effective and equitable aid delivery. The guidance notes can be used to align strategies and actions with the principles of localisation, enhancing the role and influence of local actors in humanitarian responses.
