This Guidance Note is designed for governments, humanitarian, and development partners involved in education in emergencies (EiE). It aims to improve the production, sharing, and use of EiE data within education information management systems (EMIS) to enhance system resilience and response to education needs in crisis settings. By standardizing indicators, improving data collection tools, and fostering institutional commitment, this guidance helps embed crisis-sensitive data practices within Ministries of Education (MoE) and educational administrations. The focus is on reinforcing national and local systems, ensuring MoE leadership, and enhancing coordination among all actors to ensure equitable, safe, and inclusive quality education for all.
