This report explores the integration of conflict sensitivity into local and community development programming across different countries, focusing on lessons learned and good practices. It ranges from minimalistic approaches aimed at avoiding harm to more ambitious strategies that actively support peacebuilding. Targeted at UNDP country teams and other development actors in conflict-affected contexts, the report aims to inform and enhance local development approaches, particularly in transitional settings like Myanmar. Funded by the Republic of Korea and KOICA under the "Saemaul Initiative Towards Inclusive and Sustainable New Communities," the initiative supports capacity development, policy advice, and knowledge management to strengthen conflict-sensitive programming in rural development.
