Central African Republic: National Recovery and Peacebuilding Plan 2017-2021
This resource provides an overview of the Recovery and Peacebuilding Assessment (RPBA) conducted in the Central African Republic (CAR) in response to the challenges faced by the country after years of armed conflict and governance issues. It outlines the priorities identified by the CAR government and international partners for the post-election period, focusing on recovery, peacebuilding, and addressing structural causes of the crisis. The resulting National Recovery and Peacebuilding Plan (RCPCA) aims to mobilize support for the CAR's socio-economic recovery, emphasizing regional equity, gender equality, transparency, and accountability. It serves as a roadmap for donors and humanitarian actors to coordinate efforts and facilitate the country's transition towards sustainable peace and development.
