Barriers and Enablers of Improved Sanitation and Handwashing in South and Southeastern Madagascar: A Mixed-Methods Assessment, Phase 1 Results

PRO-WASH & SCALE, together with the Maharo and FIOVANA resilience food security activities (RFSAs), conducted a research study on the barriers and enablers to improved sanitation and handwashing in South and Southeastern Madagascar. This report, on Phase 1, explored barriers and enablers identified by Maharo and FIOVANA staff, as well as best practices and lessons learned for improved future programming.
