Global Water Strategy Public Meeting
USAID and the U.S. Department of State will host a public meeting on the U.S. Government Global Water Strategy 2017-2022, including its priorities, achievements, challenges, implementation, and results.
This event is free and open to the public. Register for the event by November 3, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
Review the Federal Register Notice, published on September 21, 2021. Comments from the public--both written and via this virtual public meeting--will inform the development of the revised U.S. Government Global Water Strategy and Agency-specific plans in 2022.
USAID invites written comments from the public on successes and challenges with implementation, monitoring, and reporting on the Global Water Strategy. They are especially interested in comments on steps to strengthen the implementation of the Strategy and on opportunities to accelerate progress of its Strategic Objectives. Submit written comments by October 29, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. EDT to waterteam@usaid.gov as a Word or PDF attachment and include: “Comments U.S. Global Water Strategy,” in the subject line.
