Overview

These materials present findings from the endline evaluation of the United in Building and Advancing Life Expectations (UBALE) project in Malawi, a five-year Title II Development Food Assistance Project (DFAP) funded by the United States Agency of International Development (USAID) Office of Food for Peace (FFP). UBALE worked to increase the productivity of profitable and nutritious farm products for smallholder farming households, reduce stunting among children under five, and increase resiliency to shocks. UBALE was led by Catholic Relief Services in consortium with CARE, Save the Children, the Catholic Development Commission of the Chikwawa Diocese (CADECOM), the National Cooperative Business Association CLUSA, and the National Smallholder Farmersā€™ Association of Malawi.

Final Performance Evaluation

This report presents findings from the endline evaluation. The purpose of the evaluation is to measure the performance and development outcomes of the UBALE project to provide learnings to inform the development of future Title II projects in Malawi and other countries.
