Guide for Adopting Remote Monitoring Approaches During COVID-19

Digital tools can support novel approaches to remote monitoring. Responsible use of digital tools also supports Operating Unit (OU) alignment with the Digital Data Collection mandate in the Agency’s new Digital Strategy. This guide aims to provide information for Agency staff and implementing partners on remote monitoring techniques and when they can be employed. The guide should be used to identify and pursue appropriate remote-monitoring approaches for user needs. This guide will take users through a few major questions to ask when working to identify and deploy remote monitoring tools.
