SCALE

Nearly 40% of the world's population is under the age of 24--that's 1.1 billion people (and growing in so many ways!). Across the globe, young people have effectively responded to the COVID pandemic and its social, political and economic impacts. However, youth engagement in decision-making processes and young people's representation has a long way to go in many countries. A new publication released by the SCALE award brings together a wealth of tools and resources to help organizations respond better to the needs of youth in employment and livelihoods programming: A Guide and Cheat Sheet for Resilience Food Security Activities: How to Engage Youth in Alternative Livelihoods.

The accompanying webinar will provide an overview of key knowledge platforms, approaches and considerations for BHA-funded food security programs. It will also serve as an opportunity for participants with shared challenges to discuss the issues they are facing and to find the resources needed to address those challenges.
