Accelerating 10 Steps for Successful Breastfeeding in West and Central Africa

This webinar focuses on accelerating the implementation of the Ten Steps for Successful Breastfeeding in West and Central Africa using an innovative approach called the Centers of Excellence for Breastfeeding. This approach is being implemented by Alive & Thrive and other partners in South East Asia and provides a way forward for nutrition and health programs in West and Central Africa to operationalize baby-friendly hospital initiatives and establish exclusive breastfeeding in the first few days of life. The webinar is part of a series of virtual events organized by WHO, UNICEF, and Alive & Thrive regional offices and is part of the 'Stronger With Breastmilk Only' regional initiative.
